After some research into what you all like to read on Weakened Dad, one thing was obvious: listicles get read the most. Since I usually write about the things I like in the format I like best, I’m giving you a freebie.
Here are my 33 tips for having a fantastic day. Please, keep in mind that this list is what works for me—your mileage may vary.
Wake up before the sun. 0530 works for me because it’s early but not awful.
Drink 8-10 ounces of water upon rising.
Make the bed.
Exercise for at least 50 minutes.
Stretch.
Hug my kids when they wake up.
Make breakfast for the family.
Read at least one page of my bathroom book while attending to my business.
Tidy up my bedroom so there are no clothes on the dresser, bed, or floor.
Put on a watch that makes me smile.
Drive one of my cars.
Spend less than 30 minutes reading emails.
Do a crossword puzzle.
Drink more water.
Laugh
Eat a piece of fruit.
Step away from an annoying situation.
Listen to music.
Listen to a podcast or audiobook that makes me smarter.
Solve a Rubik’s cube.
Take a 15-30 minute walk.
Do something nice for a stranger.
Do something creative.
Wrestle with my kids.
Read a book with my kids.
Kiss my wife.
Eat vegetables.
Drink some more water.
Write in my journal.
Do the dishes.
Read for at least an hour.
Floss and brush my teeth.
Go to bed early.
That’s it. This is what I do—or at least try to do—to have a fantastic day. I don’t do every tip each day but I come pretty close. Let me know some of the things you do to have a fantastic day or if I’m missing anything that you think I should do.

All great advice, except maybe the Rubik's cube. They only serve to frustrate me.
